Neiko Alexander #131 CVMA Round 3 Race Report

Saturday Races-
Race 1
American Thunder- Being the first race of the day it was a little cold but was able to throw down some consistent times. With missing Friday practice and some new changes to the geometry and ergonomics, I really used this race to see if it all worked. Pulled off a 2nd place podium finish and was ready for the Hooligan race.

Race 2
CVMA Hooligans- What a stacked grid this weekend. Last race of the day and boy was it hard to see. The sun was directly in our eyes for the first start. Due to a red flag we ended up doing a 4 lap restart. By this time the sun was down and a tinted visor was not beneficial here. The goal was to stay consistent and I was able to pull off a 4th place.

Sunday Races-
Race 1
American Thunder- Was feeling really good with the changes on the bike and was able to drop into the 2 minute flat lap times. Setting a new PR for me. Finished with a 2nd place podium finish.

Race 2
CVMA Hooligans- Last race of the weekend and with some more suspension changes I was able to set another PR, and stayed even more consistent with my times. Was able to secure a 3rd place podium finish.
