Coming into the weekend was a bit of a struggle. With torn ligaments in my ankle, we still needed to score some points to secure 2nd in the championship so sitting it out was not an option.
Saturday Races-
I had to get use to riding the bike a little different to compensate for the ankle injury, but we made it happen. Great races with @chillgil and got the points I needed. To make it even better I got a new PR and dipped into the 1:57’s!
Sunday Races-
With scoring the points I needed in Saturdays races, and my ankle not cooperating, we took it a little easier and just managed both races.
Finished off the season in a 1&2 championship finish with my @toceperformance teammate @zedex_tenahr. Couldn’t be happier, we were only missing @ridingwithcarbon to do a championship clean sweep 1,2,3.
I have to thank @toceperformance for getting this Indian FTR 1200 ready to take on any grid. Thank you to @kytamericas for being on board this year and keeping me safe. Thank you @braketech_usa for coming on board, can’t wait to get those new rotors out there to keep passing people on the brakes. Thank you to @truthbetoldapparelusa for coming on board, can’t wait to show off the new pit look! Thank you to @bludlubricants for protecting the heart of our bikes! Thank you to @racersedgeperformance for providing @ridedunlop . Huge shoutout to @cvmaracing for providing us an awesome organization to come race in. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you to my amazing wife @jamiebernadette for putting up with my racing shenanigans. The biggest shout out goes to my dad for coming out and helping in every way possible. From cooking all weekend long to sponsoring this weekends tires. Thank you for creating this speed addiction.
